Established in 2005, Wrightstown Family Medicine offers a wide range of comprehensive primary care services for infants, children, youth, and adults. The physicians personally answer phone calls in the evenings and weekends. We are committed to providing you with the best possible care.

Paul M. Caracappa, D.O.
Dr. Caracappa received his bachelor’s degree at Penn State, graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed his family medicine residency at Reading Hospital. Dr. Caracappa is board certified in family medicine and has been in practice for over 20 years. He is a lifetime resident of Bucks county and he is the father of five children. In his spare time, Dr. Caracappa enjoys playing basketball and camping with his kids.

Ashley Von Dohlen, MHS, PA-C

Ashley received her Master’s Degree in Health Sciences from the Drexel University Physician Assistant Program in 2008. She practiced in general surgery for 3 years, and has spent the last 11 years practicing in emergency medicine. Ashley was an assistant professor and academic coordinator in the Thomas Jefferson University Physician Assistant Studies Program for 3 years, teaching the Physical Diagnosis, Emergency Medicine, and Advanced Physical Assessment courses. Ashley is excited to begin the next stage of her career at Wrightstown Family Medicine alongside Dr. Caracappa!

Ashley lives in Yardley, PA with her husband, Nick, their son, Luke, and their adopted senior cat, Hunter. She enjoys cooking and baking, reading, traveling, and practicing Pilates.

Carrie Nomikos, MPAS, PA-C

Carrie earned her Bachelor’s Degrees in Biology and Medical Laboratory Sciences from St. Joseph’s University in 2011. She began her career at NYU Langone’s hospital laboratory, where she worked for four years before pursuing advanced clinical training. In 2018, Carrie completed her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies at MCPHS University. She went on to practice Family Medicine for four years at Amoskeag Health, a community health center in Manchester, NH. After relocating with her family to beautiful Bucks County, Carrie is excited to continue caring for patients in the field of Family Medicine. She lives in Warminster, PA with her husband, George, their two sons, Georgie and Gus, and their dog, Archie. Outside of work, Carrie enjoys hiking, traveling, cooking, and being an active member of St. Bede the Venerable Parish

PRIMARY CARE

We offer a wide range of comprehensive primary care services for infants, children, youth, and adults. Our experienced team is dedicated to providing personalized, compassionate care to help you and your family stay healthy and happy.

URGENT CARE

In addition to our regular appointments, we also provide urgent care services for unexpected medical needs. Our physicians personally answer phone calls in the evenings and weekends, ensuring that you receive the care you need when you need it most.

The physicians personally answer phone calls in the evenings and weekends.

MODERN PRACTICE

We use a certified Electronic Health Record (EHR) system which allows us to electronically send prescription orders and refills directly to the pharmacy.

ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE

As part of our commitment to providing the best possible care, we also offer alternative medicine and acupuncture.

CONVENIENT

Our practice maintains a supply of Flu shots and Vaccines. LabCorp is also located in the building. They are certified in routine lab work including both Adult and Pediatric collection.
